Fall Cleaning Checklist for Mobile Homeowners
October 6, 2026
Fall in Mobile means pine needles in the gutters, leaves on the driveway, and holiday guests not far behind. Here is the checklist we run through on our own jobs this time of year. Handle these now and your home heads into the holidays looking its best.
1. Clean the gutters
This is job one every fall. Pine needles and leaves pack gutters fast, and the next heavy rain sends water straight over the edge and onto your foundation. Most homes take us under two hours. If yours overflow when it rains, do not wait.
2. Check the roof for algae
Those black streaks on shingles are algae, and our humid summers feed it. A soft wash treatment kills it without the damage a pressure washer would cause. Fall is a great time for it, before the cooler months slow everything down.
3. Pressure wash the driveway and walkways
Summer leaves algae and mildew on concrete. One good washing brings it back and keeps walkways from getting slick when the rains come.
4. Wash the windows
Clean windows before the holidays and the whole house feels brighter when family visits. We do inside and out, screens included.
5. Tidy the outdoor living areas
Patios, decks, and porches collect a season of grime. A wash now means they are ready for fall evenings outside.
6. Plan the holiday deep clean
If you are hosting for Thanksgiving or Christmas, book the interior deep clean early. Our schedule fills up fast in November and December.
